The HEXAFLUORINE® solution

Hexafluorine® solution – decontamination of chemical splashes with hydrofluoric acid

Developed by PREVOR Laboratories, the HEXAFLUORINE® solution was designed to allow the active washing of hydrofluoric acid splashes.

The HEXAFLUORINE® solution has a multiple action

The HEXAFLUORINE® solution is a liquid which removes the aggressive chemical from the surface by mechanical sweeping.

The properties of the HEXAFLUORINE® solution allows the absorption of acid ions (H⁺) and fluoride ions (F^–) very quickly and simultaneously.

Like the DIPHOTERINE® solution, the HEXAFLUORINE® solution is a hypertonic solution.

The combination of these three properties allows the HEXAFLUORINE® solution, used immediately after accident, to perform the optimal decontamination of hydrofluoric acid splashes and thus to prevent the dreadful sequelae that result too often from such kind of splashes (amputation, heavy surgery or even death of the victim by cardiac standstill).

Prevor products do not contain any phosphates.

The presence of phosphates in a solution prevents its use on certain products (e.g. lime, cement, etc…). Certain studies have shown that side effects due to phosphates can occur in some cases. Prevor in its desire for universality has always worked without phosphates.
